Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the electriciannearyou.co website and related services (the "Service") operated by Electrician Near You. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Nature of the Service

Electrician Near You is a free referral and advertising service that connects homeowners with independent, third-party electrical contractors. We are not an electrical contractor, we do not perform electrical work, and we do not employ, supervise or control the contractors in our network.

Any agreement for services is solely between you and the contractor. Pricing, scheduling, warranties and the quality of work are determined by and are the responsibility of the contractor.

No Warranty or Guarantee

We do not warrant or guarantee any work performed by any contractor. It is your responsibility to verify that any contractor you hire holds the license, insurance and permits required for the work in your jurisdiction, and to review any contract before work begins.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Calls and Communications

By calling our number or submitting a form, you consent to be contacted by us and by contractors in our network by phone, text message or email at the contact information you provide, including by automated means, regarding your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Calls may be recorded.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to submit false or misleading information, to interfere with the operation of the Service, or to scrape, copy or reverse engineer any part of it.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Service, including text, graphics, logos and images, is owned by or licensed to Electrician Near You and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Photos may depict models or actors and not actual contractors. Third-party brands or trademarks mentioned are the property of their respective owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Electrician Near You and its owners, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any property damage, personal injury, loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Service or any work performed by a contractor, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Electrician Near You from any claims, damages, losses or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or any dispute between you and a contractor.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we are organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes and Termination

We may modify these Terms or discontinue the Service at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
